Today we recognize the valuable work of school resource officers during National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day 👮♀️
SROs are carefully selected, specifically trained, sworn law enforcement officers assigned to work with schools using community-oriented policing concepts. Nicolet's SRO Marissa Myers became a police officer with the goal of becoming an SRO and says that she has her dream job here at Nicolet. Her favorite part of her job is the relationships she has built with students and staff.

Nicolet’s 25-member Model UN delegation worked with over 3000 other students from schools across the nation and across the globe in solving problems, building solutions, and engaging in professional and polished diplomacy last weekend at the University of Chicago.
This was a remarkable team effort, led by the leadership trio of Golan Altman-Shafer, Maia Bozovich, and Elizabeth Twomey—an effort where veteran members mentored new participants and delegates reached across committee lines to build a well-informed and focused group.
A special shout-out goes to Laura Mendoza-Sanchez and Layla Caples for receiving Honorable Mentions in their respective committees, and 9th-grade student Lydia Presti earning a Verbal Commendation in her first season.
The team sends a heartfelt thank-you to the Annette J. Roberts and Joan R. Robertson Fund for World Peace, World Law and Peace Education at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation for its generous contribution in supporting the team's work at MUNUC.

CIVIC MUSIC MKE is proud to annually recognize individuals for their outstanding work in the field of music education. They are pleased to host this celebration of educators in the month of March - - Music in Our Schools Month. They are honored to continue their collaboration with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra on this project 🎶

North Shore Legion Rugby Club, formerly Nicolet Rugby, is back to practice starting February 24th, 5:00-6:30, at the Kletzsch Park baseball fields nearest Green Bay Rd 🏉
The club invites young men from every grade, Freshmen to Seniors, to enjoy being part of a winning team with an amazing group of players.
They have many events planned outside of practice to grow the sport, have fun, and volunteer to help out in the community.

Congratulations to Nicolet’s Mock Trial team 2 for coming in as runner up in the Racine regional this past weekend❗ They will advance to the state competition where 20 of the best mock trial teams across Wisconsin will compete for the State Championship title in Madison March 7-9.
