✨ Lady Knights In The Community - October ✨
Our first act of service was with Feeding America* on 10/12
We sorted and packaged food donations for local food banks and helped provide meals for over 700 families.
Our second act of service was with Ronald McDonald House* on 10/19. Prepared and served meals to families with hospitalized children. Brought joy and comfort to families in need. "Working at the Ronald McDonald House was such an enjoyable experience, I had such a great time working with my team. The Ronald McDonald house was overall an amazing feeling to just give back with those I love." - Ava Landrum
Our third act of kindness was spent with our elders with Glendale Care and Rehab Center Nursing Home on 10/31. We visited residents, played games, danced with them and distributed small gifts for their Halloween party. We brought smiles and companionship to seniors. "It made me feel like a better person being able to give back to my community."
- Dallas Hortman-Garner
Lady Knights compiled 187 volunteer hours with 17 members.
The young ladies developed teamwork and leadership skills. Fostered empathy and compassion. Enhanced community engagement and social responsibility.
Great work 👏
