Nicolet German One students pose with their Schultüten at the beginning of the year. A Schultüte contains a mix of candy and school supplies and is given to students to encourage them to do their best. The tradition can be traced back to 1782.

Nicolet Union High School will be hosting North Shore Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, September 24th from 6-7 p.m. in the auditorium.
The presentation will be given by Jinny Apuli, financial aid counselor at Marquette University, to walk you through the financial aid process.
This event is geared towards parents and guardians of seniors who are planning to attend a 2-year, 4-year or technical college. We encourage students to attend with their parents or guardians.

German students visited the Hunger Task Force Farm to learn about hunger in our area and how to build a more sustainable society. They donated cereal for the healthy breakfast program and harvested tomatoes for distribution to families in need in the Milwaukee area. While the weather was good, the students learned that heavy rain damaged both homes and the tomato crop. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the collaboration between the German Club/Honor Society and the Hunger Task Force.
