MEPA (Multi-Ethnic Parent Association)

The Multi-Ethnic Parent Association (MEPA) is an advocacy group whose purpose is to promote academic achievement, opportunity and inclusive problem-solving among Nicolet High School’s multi-ethnic student population. MEPA strives to serve as a communication vehicle and foster a sense of belonging within the school community, particularly between the staff and the students and parents of color.
MEPA is a membership association and annual dues are collected, which can be paid with your child’s registration or directly to the school. Dues are used to support:
The annual Senior Scholarship and Awards Program
Advocacy activities and events for students and families
In addition to work with the school and board members on addressing the needs of multi-ethnic students and their families, our monthly meeting, programs and initiatives….:
Promote academic success for all students
Promote engagement and involvement in the Nicolet Community
Drive accountability to the school’s equity plan
Close gaps in access to advanced courses, standardized testing, and discipline
Award & honor scholarships to graduating seniors of color
MEPA meets on the following dates, at 6:00 p.m. in Room D109.

November 18 — College and Career Planning Information Night
January 20 – Planning for Spring Events/Scholarships
February 17 – Black History Event/Program
April 21 – International Community Celebration
May 19 – Scholarship Awards Banquet
