Refrain from writing, drawing, or affixing stickers on the Chromebook as it is district property.
Transport Chromebook in a backpack. (Don’t put the power cord next to the Chromebook in your backpack.)
Do not leave in plain sight in vehicle or leave in extreme temperatures
Keep track of the charging cord and stylus (on Lenovo model).
Chromebooks should be charged every night.
Bring the Chromebook to school everyday.
Students should report needed repairs or lost Chromebooks to the library as soon as possible
Charging Towers for Chromebooks
Four charging towers are available to students to securely charge their Chromebook in a locked compartment during the school day. Charging towers are available in the following locations:
Library
F118 Study hall
F128 Study hall
A-wing Pool Lobby
Chromebook Cases and Sleeves
Students wishing to protect or personalize the Chromebook may wish to consider a shell case, padded sleeve for inside their backpack or a separate case that can be carried outside the backpack but still provide damage protection. Look to make sure the case/sleeve is compatible with the Chromebook models listed above. Sleeves and carrying cases are more generic and will fit a variety of Chromebooks. Do not use any cases that adhere to the Chromebook with a sticky backing or other adhesive material.
