Election Details

An election is to be held in the School District of Nicolet Union High School, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.  

Office - Incumbent
School Board Member - Theresa Seem, position expires April 2026 
School Board Member - Anthony Pennington-Cross, position expires April 2026

Office Terms
The term of office for school board members is three years beginning on Monday, April 27, 2026. A description of the school district boundaries can be obtained from the school district office

For Candidates
A Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy, must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in the office of the school district clerk.  

If nomination papers are required, the first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2025 and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in the office of the school district clerk.

Primary Election
If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Additional Information
Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election.  If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.

A qualified elector of the School District who wishes to become a candidate and have their name appear on the election ballot for any of the school board seat(s) that will be contested at the 2026 Spring Election must file all necessary forms at the District Office, 6701 N Jean Nicolet Rd, Glendale, Wisconsin by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Important Dates 2026 Election:
December 1, 2025: Date most candidates begin to file Candidacy papers
December 26, 2025, 5 p.m: Deadline for incumbents to file Notification of Noncandidacy
January 6, 2026, 5 p.m: Deadline for candidates to file Declaration of Candidacy and Campaign Finance Registration Statement
February 17, 2026: Spring Primary (if needed)
April 7, 2026: Spring Election
April 27, 2026: Elected persons take office

PLEASE NOTE: The District office will be closed December 23, 2025, through January 3, 2026, for Winter Break. Regular business hours for the District Office are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. although the office will be open until the 5:00 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, for acceptance of candidacy documents
