American physician, scientist, and global health researcher whose pioneering work in the development, clinical validation, and global implementation of oral rehydration therapy (ORT) transformed the treatment of cholera and acute diarrheal diseases. His research directly contributed to the adoption of ORT by the World Health Organization, leading to the annual distribution of hundreds of millions of treatment packets across more than 60 countries and the saving of tens of millions of lives, making ORT one of the most significant medical interventions of the twentieth century.

David Einhorn (1987)
President of Greenlight Capital, a value-oriented investment advisor, which he co-founded in 1996. He is also chairman of the boards of Greenlight Capital Re, Ltd. and Green Brick Partners, Inc. Mr. Einhorn graduated summa cum laude with distinction from Cornell University, where he earned a bachelor's degree from the College of Arts and Sciences and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He is the author of “Fooling Some of the People All of the Time: A Long Short Story,” published in 2008. Mr. Einhorn is Founder and Trustee of Einhorn Collaborative, a foundation dedicated to advancing the science and practice of social connection and social cohesion. Mr. Einhorn is an Emeritus Member of the Board of Trustees of Cornell University. He currently serves on the Cornell Tech Council and on the boards of City Year, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, and the Robin Hood Foundation. He has three children: Rachel, Naomi, and Mitchell.

Barry Mandel (1971)
Founder and principal of Mandel Group, one of Metro-Milwaukee’s largest multifamily real estate development firms, whose portfolio reshaped the landscape, infrastructure, and skyline of our region. Mandel Group, and Barry individually have received a multitude of distinguished local and national awards for its developments and contributions to Milwaukee. Barry’s philanthropic leadership includes founding support for Marquette University’s Associates in Commercial Real Estate program. This program significantly expanded minority participation in the industry. Barry’s sponsorship of “I Have a Dream Foundation,” provides comprehensive two-generational educational, financial, and social support from first grade to first job for 100 Dreamers and their families.

Lauren Ancel Meyers (1991)
Cooley Centennial Professor at the University of Texas, she is a leading authority in epidemic science whose work has shaped how we understand and respond to deadly outbreaks. She has developed powerful mathematical methods to forecast epidemics and strengthen responses, from SARS and influenza to Ebola and Zika. During COVID-19, her models and insights became a trusted guide for leaders and the public, bringing clarity in a time of profound uncertainty. In recognition of this life-saving impact, she was awarded the Key to the City of Austin and now leads efforts to equip communities worldwide with the data and tools needed to prevent and combat infectious disease threats.

Tom Miller (1958)
During a career spanning seven decades, Tom produced thousands of hours of entertainment in television, movies, and theater. With classic television shows such as Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Mork & Mindy, Bosom Buddies, Perfect Strangers, Full House and Family Matters; Tom developed and produced many of the most significant, cherished and popular sitcoms in the history of television. Tom's creative output also includes substantial contributions in film and live theater, He produced successful comedy feature films including Silver Streak and Foul Play. Later, as a Tony-award winning Broadway producer, his credits included War Horse, Tootsie, 13, Mrs. Doubtfire and the revival of Company.

Noah Mitz (2001)
Emmy Award-winning television lighting designer whose career spans large-scale broadcasts and events across the globe. Upon earning a BFA from the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University, Noah entered the world of television production and has enjoyed creating compelling pictures for some of the world’s most recognizable events. His designs for the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, Tonys, and Golden Globes Awards, as well as series for America’s Got Talent and Dancing with the Stars, have been recognized domestically and internationally. Noah’s portfolio also encompasses talk shows for Conan O’Brien and James Corden as well as game shows and globally broadcast specials. Over his career he has established industry standards for lighting in live television production.

Ambassador Joan Spero (1962)
Dr. Joan Spero was a Senior Research Scholar at Columbia University and former U.S. Under Secretary of State for Economic, Business, and Agricultural Affairs, where she led diplomatic initiatives in global trade, international economic development, and the Middle East peace process. She served as Ambassador to the United Nations for Economic and Social Affairs under President Carter after which she held senior positions at American Express and became the Founding President of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, shaping one of the nation’s leading philanthropic institutions.

Rajiv Vinnakota (1989)
Rajiv Vinnakota is a pioneering social entrepreneur whose career has centered on expanding opportunity and building engaged citizens. A Princeton University graduate, he co-founded The SEED Foundation — the nation's first network of public, college-preparatory boarding schools for underserved youth — earning national recognition from Harvard University, Fast Company, and Oprah Winfrey. He went on to serve as Executive Vice President for Youth and Engagement at the Aspen Institute, before becoming President of Citizens & Scholars, a national organization sparking young people to create bold civic solutions. A widely published author and frequent media commentator on civic learning and Gen Z, Raj has shaped the field through scholarship, research, and speaking engagements nationwide. He is a recipient of Princeton's Woodrow Wilson Award and an honorary doctorate from Rutgers University. Raj proudly calls Milwaukee his hometown and Maine his home.
