Nicolet High School is excited about our continuous development of STEM education for all students. We believe that through STEM education, students learn to be creators, innovators, and problem-solvers, as they explore their world through the lens of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Provide an engaging and relevant STEM education through a curriculum that develops graduates ready to pursue the challenges of advanced education and the needs of tomorrow’s workforce.


STEM education seeks to:

  • Create students who are passionate and skilled to become tomorrow’s scientists, engineers, innovators and creators.
  • Increase the availability of STEM education for all students
  • Create opportunities for teachers to incorporate STEM careers (16 Career Clusters) through the use of interdisciplinary units of study in their respective curriculums, throughout the entire school, where students apply science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics in contexts that make connections between school and the world.
  • Develop learning experiences that promote critical and process driven thinking skills.

Nicolet High School STEM program seeks to develop and engage in partnerships with area colleges/universities and businesses and families that support the educational needs of students and foster student engagement in STEM education/careers.

We are currently working with the following organizations to develop student awareness and learning in STEM education:

  • Medical College of Wisconsin-PUMA (Partnership for Urban Medical Education and Advancement)
